MISTAKEN FOR POLICEMAN,MACON YOUTH CUT TO DEATH
Macon,Ga April 6.-(special)- Because he was mistaken for a policeman,Allen Reid,a young white man,23 years of age,was cut to death by Will Thomas while the later was in a drunken frenzy last night.Reid died at the hospital today and in his dying statement he accused the man who had been arrested with three others.The others thinking that one of there color was in a fight assited him in his attack upon Reid, and the young man was frightfully beaten and cut.

Macon, GA., April 7.-(Special)-The Funeral of Allen Reid, who was Killed Wednesday night was held from was held from the family residence in South Macon this afternoon. The body was interred in Evergreen cemetery. He Leaves a wife and one daughter besides his parents.
