Leonard Houle was my step-grandfather.
Len's 1st wife was Edna Irene-Modig-Olson.
When he married her she had 2 daughters and 2 sons.
Bernice, Florence, Earl and Gordon Olson.
Edna died around 1944 of cancer.
After Edna passed away he lived with Earl Olson and his wife Gladys (Lantrip) and their children Sharon, Gordon, Edna and Bonnie Olson in Detroit, Michigan.

Sylvia Lakkala Utech beccame his 2nd wife, she had a son Robert Utech. The three of them lived in Milford Michigan before moving to Rockland, Michigan.

Here is where it gets tricky Sylvia was my aunt.
Her brother Karle "Charlie" Lakkala was married to my dad's sister Bernice. Charlie was hit & killed by a train. They did not have any children.
Her sister Selma "Sally" was married to my mother's brother Lonnie Lantrip. Sally & Lonnie had 2 children Carl & Betty Jean.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it...9-03-2011
