R.V. Hatcher The funeral service of Robert Vonl Hatcher, 61, of Albany, who died Saturday. was conducted Monday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Mitchell County with interment in the church cemetery.

A lifelong resident of Dougherty County, Mr. Hatcher was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and was retired from the Army as a staff sergeant. He served in Vietnam and was a farmer.

Survivors include three daughters, Linda Stettnisch of Leesburg, Shiela Smith of Albany, and Sheryl Foister of Vada; three sons, Allen Hatcher, Robert Nathan Hatcher and Hubert Merritt, all of Albany; his mother, 0llie B. Hatcher of Albany; three sisters, Mildred Bentley of Lake Blackshear, Martha June Willis of Tucson, Ariz. and Bernice Cromer of Acree; a brother, Virgil Hatcher of Albany; 10 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Directors was in charge of arrangements.
