BOSSIER CITY, LA - Buck passed away December 23, 2009 after a battle with lung cancer. He passed peacefully with wife Elease and grandson Paul at his side. He was born July 28, 1929 in Durbin, Pocahontas County, WV. He served in the US Army and later the USAF and retired with the rank of MSGT in 1970. He then later retired from Barksdale AFB Golf Course maintainance in 2001. He married wife Elease Pamela "Pam" Arbogast in December 31, 1953.

He is survived by his loving wife, Elease Arbogast; son, Paul E. Arbogast and wife Pamela; daughter, Debi Legg; grandson, Paul J. Arbogast and wife Theresa; granddaughters, Tiffany Cox and husband Jim, and Tisha Ervin; great-grandsons, Christopher Jon and David Patrick Arbogast; and great-granddaughters, Kaycee, Kylee, and Kynlee Cox. He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Perlena Arbogast; brothers, Arlie, Ray, and Russell Arbogast; sisters Mae Brewster, Sally Ervin, Radie Nelson, Ruth Ervin, Dairyie Arbogast, and Mary Howdyshell. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who was loved by all.

Services will be held Monday, December 28, 2009 at Boone Funeral Home, 2156 Airline Dr., Bossier City, LA at 2:00 PM with Military Honors. Bro. David Lane will be officiating. Visitation will be December 28, 2009 at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until service time.

The family would like to thank the Doctors, and Nurses at Willis Knighton Cancer Center as well as STAT Home Health, and St. Joseph Hospice of Shreveport.
