Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Charles F. and Virginia Jean Adkins; sister, Patricia Ann Adkins; grandmother, Edna Jackson; and aunt, Jo Blanks.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Ann Adkins; son, Aaron Adkins, of Rossville; daughters, Pamela Adkins, of Rossville, and Pauline Albers, of Ringgold; brothers, Larry, Charles, Donald, Jeffrey, Ricky, Steven, Tony and Jack Adkins; granddaughter, Kaylie Albers, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at noon Monday in the South Crest Chapel with Pastor Alan Crider officiating.
Burial will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
