Gary M. Adkins, 60, of Chattanooga, Tenn. passed away Thursday, December 31, 2009, in a local hospital.

A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, he was employed with AAA Window Manufacturing and was of the Christian faith.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Charles F. and Virginia Jean Adkins; sister, Patricia Ann Adkins; grandmother, Edna Jackson; and aunt, Jo Blanks.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah Ann Adkins; son, Aaron Adkins, of Rossville; daughters, Pamela Adkins, of Rossville, and Pauline Albers, of Ringgold; brothers, Larry, Charles, Donald, Jeffrey, Ricky, Steven, Tony and Jack Adkins; granddaughter, Kaylie Albers, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at noon Monday in the South Crest Chapel with Pastor Alan Crider officiating.

Burial will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends today from 4-8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, Rossville, GA.
