He died of lung cancer at St. Clair Hospital, Tacoma.
A 1959 graduate of Redbank Valley High School, He was a 20 year veteran of the U. S. Air Force, worked for Boeing Aircraft and also had retired from Clover Park Technical School as an instructor.
Additional survivors are two daughters, Diane Baca and Debbie Struna; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Joyce Crissman, Carol Kifer and Rita Rupp; and one brother, Gary.
Internment was in Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, King County, Washington, USA.
