Services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 from Macedonia Baptist Church for Mrs. Albert S. Allen, 82, who died in King's Daughters Hospital early Tuesday morning after a brief illness. Burial was in the church cemetery, with officiating ministers L. C. Brown, Jr. and W. F. Bishop conducting the services.
She was a native and life long resident of Lincoln County, and a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, Albert S. Allen, Route 6, Brookhaven; two daughters, Mrs. Lucius Case and Mrs. Loyd Case; a son, James Ray Allen, all of Route 6, Brookhaven; three half-sisters, Mrs. D. M. Henning and Mrs. Stanly Smith, both of Brookhaven, Mrs. Versie Laird, New Orleans; two half-brothers, T. W. Furlow and Lee Furlow, both of Route 6, Brookhaven; one step brother, Ealon Britt, RFD, Wesson; 16 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
