Kathryn M. Clark, 89, of Bluford, died 7:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 1, 2010, at NHC Heathcare in Milan, Tenn.

She was born Thursday, March 4, 1920, in Rinard, Illinois, to Everett and Hazel (Robertson) Daughenbaugh. She married Thomas L. "Tom" Clark on Sept. 2, 1939, in Flora and he preceded her in death on Jan. 14, 2007.

Graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Monday at Clay City Cemetery in Clay City, with Mr. Darrel Brandon officiating. Interment will follow at Clay City Cemetery.Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon.

She is survived by two daughters, Veronica Wilkey and husband Jack of Franklin, Tenn., and Linda Love and husband Dave of Jackson, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Brent Wilkey and wife Lisa of Marseilles, Eric Wilkey of Nashville, Tenn., and Sara Hardwick and husband Mac of Jackson, Tenn.; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents, her husband, one sister and three brothers preceded her in death.

Kathryn owned and operated T.L. Clark Oil Production with her husband and was also bookkeeper for their company and she attended Bluford United Methodist Church.

For those who wish, memorials may be given to the Hospice of West Tennessee and will be accepted at the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Hughey Funeral Home.
