On February 9, 1995 Jerry Wayne Akers was taken from family and friends for reasons we can't begin to understand. With this loss, we are left to remember the special person that he was. Jerry was a loving and devoted father with a generous heart that new no bounds. He enjoyed good times with his friends and loved special times with his family.
Although we will never fill the void left by his loss we will forever cherish the memories of the person that he was. He is survived by daughters, Marina Doralice,Gerrie
Wayne,and another of his children, Kellie Gentry; grandmother,Lorene Long; mother, Carla Moore; and father Jerry Akers; three sisters, two brothers one niece and many other friends and relatives.
Services will be 2:00 PM Monday, February 13, 1995 at Bill Eisenhower Northeast Chapel with burial at Jones IOOF.Cemetery.
