sler "Benny" Benedict Foiles, 65, died at Christian Hospital NE in St. Louis. She was a nurse's aide at Jersey Community Hospital. Born in Kentucky, daughter of the Late Robert Lee and Florence (Bates) Page, she married Wilson Benedict who died June 16, 1969. She later married Cecil Foiles who died October 4, 1983. Surviving are two sons, Robin and James, both of Jerseyville; two daughters, Betty Miller of Brighton and Crystal Varble of Eldred; 22 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Walter Moore of Bethalto; and three sisters, Anna Geisler of Jerseyville, Della Scoggins of Carrollton and Bessie Burch of Elgin. Visitation was from jacoby Brothers Funeral Home in Jerseyvill. Services were held at First Baptist Church, Jerseyville with Rev. V. Clay Noah officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Missouri Baptist Chirldren's Home and First Baptist Church where she was a member.
