Mrs. W. J. Quillen
Berlin--Mrs. Edith L. Quillen, 73, widow of William J. Quillen, a Berlin farmer, died Wednesday in Peninsula General Hospital. She had been in ill health for several weeks.

Her late parents were Levin and Nancy Truitt of Berlin.

Among her survivors are four sons, William, Fred, Joseph and James Quillen of Berlin, nine daughters, Mrs. Olive West, Mrs. Mattie Lewis, Mrs. Virginia Taylor, Mrs. Nora Lee Bunting, and Mrs. Madalyn Moore of Berlin, Mrs. Elizabeth Bradford of Ocean City, Mrs. Gladys Joseph of Whaleysville, Mrs. Naomi Hastings of Salisbury, and Mrs. Louise Littleton of Parsonsburg, 51 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Hester Calloway of Ocean City, and Mrs. Emma Turner of Berlin, and a brother, Parker Truitt of Berlin.

Services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Burbage Funeral Home, Berlin The Rev. F. H. Truitt, pastor of the Stevenson's Methodist Church, will officiate. He will be assisted by the Rev. R. L. Radford, pastor of the Church of God of Prophecy. Interment will be in Buckingham Cemetery, Berlin.
