Football Coach at St. Mary's School

"Charles C. Crosson passed away Monday morning at the Veterans' Administration Hospital, following a lingering illness. Age 48 years.

He was born here May 8, 1916, where he resided all of his life. He was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral Parish, and the Saginaw American Club, and the American Legion Post #439.
He served as sergeant in the U.S. Marines Corps during WWII.

He was employed as a bartender most of his life. He was football coach at St. Mary's School during 1931 and 1932.

Surviving are four sisters and five brothers.

Funeral service will take place at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at the Deisler Brothers Funeral Home, 9 a.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral. Msgr. Eugene Forbes will officiate, with burial in St. Andrew's Cemetery.
