Jordan B. LeSueur was of "French Huguenot" descent.

He was born ca. 1779, Manakin Town, Buckingham Co., VA.

Buckingham County, Virginia Land Book, 1827 (p. 14)

Jordan B. LeSueur, "non-resident," 30 acres on Willis River, 15 miles southeast of Buckigham County, Virginia Couthouse. "Derived from Cary Stison, Sr. "This was land receivedby Jordan B. LeSueur for his wife, Susannah Stinson, daughter of Cary Stinson, Sr. (father-in-law)."

He came to Georgia with his father, Samuel (Alexander?) LeSueur, Sr. (RWS?), ca. 1800. He acquired land in the 1805 Georgia Land Lottery. Jordan B. LeSueur was the owner of 10 slaves.

Resided on Beaver Dam Creek by 1824, Monroe Co., GA and lived near his brother, Mead LeSueur's, "War of 1812" (m. Henrietta E. Smith) home near Bolingbroke in Monroe Co., GA.
