Mrs. Otto Amelung died Sunday morning at her home on Fremont Street following an illness with influenza and pneumonia. She was 21 years, 11 months and 15 days of age.
Mrs. Amelung, nee Josephine Margaret Hilke, was born at Krakow, December 21, 1896, and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hilke. She was married to Otto Amelung on Sept 4, 1918. The deceased is survived by her husband, mother, and three sisters, Mrs. Hy. Voss, of Krakow, Mrs. Hy. Brinker of Washington, and Mrs. Martin Beuke of Washington. Her father died in May 1918.
Funeral services took place Wednesday morning at St. Francis Borgia Church, thence to the church cemetery.
