She was born at Detour, Md., the daughter of Daniel R. and Sarah (Pfoutz) Sayler. Her early life was lived in Thurmont and after her marriage in 1899, she had resided in Waynesboro. Her husband died in July 1945.
Mrs. Boerner was a member of the Waynesboro Church of the Brethren.
Surviving are the one nephew and one niece.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Grove Funeral Home, conducted by the Dr. George L. Detweier. Burial will be made in Green Hill Cemetery.
