Mary M. Carey, 92, a native of Westfield and lifelong resident of Hamilton County, died Sunday morning at Riverview Hospital after an extended illness. She was born June 29, 1884 to Richard and Christina (White) Carey.
She had recently resided at R6, Noblesville.
A sister, Lotta Carey, with whom she lived for many years, died in 1950.
A nephew, Richard Gause, Elkhart, survives. She was graduated from the former Union High School in Westfield and attended Earlham College.
