[Note: Since the death certificate only uses the initials "J.W.", it is not clear if the certificate refers to John W. Nibel, or his brother Joseph Wilburt Nibel. More research is being done to prove whether this death was John W. or Joseph Wilburt Nibel.]

The death certificate for J. W. Nibel indicates he lived in George West, Texas, died 11/21/1936 and was born 9/12/1870 (Age at time of death was unknown by his friends, but was their best guess.) His occupation was oil well driller. The certificate does not list the names of his mother and father. The informant was E. A. Morgan. The burial was Oak Hill. The certificate was filed in Lampasas County.

The informant to the funeral home may not have known the exact year this particular Nibel was born, therefore he guessed at 1870. On the death certificate he first wrote 62 years and then wrote over the 2 with a six, showing him to be 66 years.
