DOROTHEA KATHERINE AUSTIN, 94, of Huntington, died Tuesday, January 18, 2005, in Heritage Center. She was born November 2, 1910, at Potter, Ky., a daughter of the late Wiley Faud and Mary Catherine Blankenship Austin. She received her education at Eastern University and Marshall University. She taught school in Lawrence County, Kentucky, Logan and Clay County West Virginia. She was a member of the South Point United Methodist Church, Delta Community Club and the South Point Chapter #404 Order of The Eastern Star. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frederick E. Austin in 1968, three sisters and two brothers. She is survived by a sister, Elizabeth A. Woodyard of Fairfield, Calif.; four nieces and one nephew. Services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, January 21, 2005, at Woodmere Abbey of Remembrance, Huntington, by The Rev. William A. Bentley. Interment will follow. Expression of sympathy may be made to The South Point United Methodist Church or to The Heart Fund
