Darlene Annette Nelson, 11 died as a result of an auto-bicycle accident at the corner of Reynolds Road and View Avenue, Centralia. She was born Jan. 10, 1961, in Port Angeles and had been a resident of Centralia since early childhood. She was a sixth-grader at Centralia Junior High School and was active in the First Presbyterian Church, Centralia and was a member of the Centralia Eagles Drill Team. Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Sandra L. Nelson, Centralia: two sisters, Diana and CHristina Nelson both at home; her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Nile E. Nelson, Montesano, her maternal grandparents; Mr. and Mrs. Louis J. Sticklin, Centralia. Memorial services were held in the First Presbyterian Church, Centralia, at 7 pm, Wednesday, with the Rev. Ronald B. Rice officiating. Arrangements were under direction of the Sticklin Funeral Home, Centralia.
