Friends in and near Coatsville have received word of the death of Albert Beard, 69, who passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Steve Kormann, in Des Moines, December 8. Surviving are his devoted companion, one son, Pvt. John Beard of Aberdeen, Md., and his daughter Mrs. Kormann in Des Moines. He had been ill for some time, and was a long time resident of the Coatsville community.
Funeral services will be held at the Holiness Church in Coatsville Friday afternoon at 1:00 o'clock. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove
cemetery.
