Mrs. Marguerite (Draper) Adams, widow of the late Walter B. Adams, co-owner of the former Draper & Maynard Sporting Goods factory in Plymouth for many years. died Saturday, September 29, at the Meriden, Conn. Hospital after a long illness. She had made her home for the past two years with her daughter, Mrs. Jean Nordstrom in Meriden. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Plymouth Congregational Church of Durham officiating, assisted by Rev. Frank H. Gross, pastor of the local church. Bearers were Frank H. Foster, Franklin P. Wolf, Merlin P. Connary and Dr. Charles H. Bowles. Several friends from Durham were present at the service.

Mrs. Adams was born in Plymouth July 17, 1889, daughter of Jason Fletcher and Harriet Cora (Russell) Draper. She was a graduate of Plymouth High School and of Wellesley College, Class of 1911. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Meriden, Conn., of the Hospital Auxiliary and College Club in that city. She lived in Durham for several years after the death of her husband, making her home with her daughter since 1960.

Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Jean Nordstrom of Meriden, Conn., a son, Walter Blair Adams, Jr., of Willamette, Ill., and seven grandchildren. >The Plymouth Record, October 1962.
