Kenneth Leslie, 37, of Charles City, died Saturday, October 17, 2009, at his residence.
Funeral services for Kenneth Leslie will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City. Pastor Timothy Robbins of Calvary Baptist Church will officiate. Inurnment will be at a later date.
The family will greet friends Tuesday from 10 a.m. until service time.
Kenneth Lee Leslie was born April 8, 1972, at Charles City, the son of Russel and Mary (Hermen) Leslie. He attended high school in Charles City. On January 11, 1992 he was united in marriage to Jennifer Dana. Kenneth worked various jobs including as a roofer with Midwest Roofing. His interests included watching movies, bowling, hunting, fishing and camping at Clear Lake. He also looked forward to spending time with his family.
Living family members include his wife, Jennifer of Charles City; 5 children, Heather, LeeAnna, Miranda, Kenneth, Jr. and Elizabeth all at home; his mother, Mary Leslie of Nashua; two brothers, Marion Leslie of Nashua and Michcal (Myssi) Leslie of Waverly and a close friend Jim Foster who he loved as a brother; four sisters, Maria (Dan) Janssen and Margaret Leslie both of Nashua, Janice (Gary) Thompson of Charles City and Ann Foster of New Hampton; many nieces and nephews including Shawn Janssen, Tim Thompson and JW Ward.
He was preceded in death by his father; a son, KJ Leslie; and a sister, Katherine Leslie.
The family would like to thank everyone who helped during this time of Ken's illness.
