ASHTABULA - Earl R. Loose, Jr., 76, of Aberdeen Avenue, died Thursday, June 30, 2005 at the Hospice Unit of Ashtabula County Medical Center. He was born on August 14, 1928 in Ashtabula, the son of Earl and Katherine (Clark) Loose, and had been a life-long area resident. Mr. Loose was an U.S. Air Force Veteran and served in the Korean War. He retired as an electrician from Elkem Metals in 1990 after 38 years of service. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed attending sporting events and collecting sports cards. He also enjoyed researching his family genealogy. A service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 5, 2005 at Bethany Lutheran Church. The Rev. Thomas Ford, Pastor will officiate. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery, North Kingsville. Calling hours will be from 7 to 9 P.M. on Sunday, July 3, 2005 at the Ducro Funeral Home, 4524 Elm Ave., Ashtabula.
