OBITUARY

Marie T. Fulton, age 92, died at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, January 9th, 2010. Marie was born in Lansing on November 8thm, 1917.

While attending Eastern High School, she sang with her friends in a quartet, which earned her a full scholarship to Lake Forest College.

Marie worked on airplane engines in a factory during WWII, and later was one of the first female drivers' examiners for the Secretary of State. But her favorite roles were that of mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Fulton, brother Ray Hannula, and nephew Tom Hannula. she is survived by her daughter Sue Davidson, granddaughters Kate Vincent (husband Adam, daughter Veronica), Jennifer Schall (husband Dave, children Nathaniel and Erin), and many other family members.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan, Lansing. Interment immediately following in Deepdale Cemetery.

The family will receive friends for visitiation at the funeral home Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
