Jeremiah Jacob Sharum married his first wife Olga May Gesford on Aug 27, 1906 in Custer Co., Oklahoma. To this union were born two daughters, Lillie Beulah and Georgia Sharum, and two sons, Lafayette and Vernon Wilson Sharum

Jeremiah Jacob Sharum married his second wife, Lilla Etta Wilds on Sept. 1, 1921 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Co., Oklahoma. Born to this union were eight children. Four daughters, Elizabeth Evalyn, Lois Dorothy, Ruby Jeraldean, and Florence Elaine Sharum, and four sons, twins, Jerry Delton, Clinton Shelton, Jeremiah Jacob Jr., Edward Eugene Sharum.
