James B. Cummings, Jr., 64, was born to James B. and Eldis Mae Blake Cummings Sr. He was a technician in Telecommunications, of the Pentecostal faith, served in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam era, and graduated from E.O. Douglas High School and Valencia Community College in Daytona Beach, Fla. He is survived by his son, Jerry Nelson; daughters, Judy McFayden, Angel Stephens, Annette Cummings and Jackie Cummings; sisters, Mary Small (Leroy), Carolyn Flemming (Norman), Linda Jackson (Elbert); brother, Donald Cummings (Pearlie); and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Burial at Florida National Cemetery with military honors.
