At 18 years of age, in 1866, Annie married Thomas T Steeves from New Brunswick. Two children were born, Sarah Wells in 1866 and Ravello B in 1867. They divorced in 1870 after four years of marriage. In 1873 John Morrison Garrison, born in New Brunswick, and living in Monticello in 1860 married Annie 'Laurie' Kingman, Penobscot, Maine. Although they didn't have any children together he was father to her children and popular to the entire family.
He and Annie were a well liked couple, and Grampie Garrison he was called. Annie's son Ravello died in 1900 in Aroostook, Maine. In 1920 the extended family along with John and Annie have moved across the country and are found living in Kent, Washington. Three years later in
