Harry F. Parr, 78, Zionsvlle, formerly of Tipton County, died Jan. 18, 2003. Mr. Parr was born March 20, 1924 in Curtisville to Harry F. and Elsie Hillan Parr, who preceded him in death.
He attended Canterbury College in Danville. Mr. Parr was Navy veteran of World War II and Korea. He was truck sales manager 15 years for Pearson Ford, Zionsville, retiring in 1986. Mr. Parr was a member of American Legion Post 79, Zionsville, Windfall Masonic Lodge, Tipton County, Murat Shrine, Indianapolis and Scottish Rite, Indianapolis.
Mr. Parr is survived by his wife of 55 years, Murtice Renner Parr of Zionsville; three sons Randall of Houston, TX., Thomas of Lakezurich, IL. and Jeffrey of Pascagoula, MS.; brother Norman Parr of Alexandria; sister Roberta Yohe of Curtisville; eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Mon. Jan. 20 in Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Center-Zionsville, with calling from 3 to 5 p.m. Sun. Jan. 19, Chaplain Jeff Bower will officiate. Burial with military rites will be at Zionsville (Ind.) Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent Hospice.
