Cpl Elmer H. Reger, son of Mr. and Mrs. N.W. Reger of South Bend

Elmer Reger married Alma Ruth Wesley on 6 February 1946 at Graham, Texas.

Mr. Reger attended South Bend High school. He entered the US Army in 1943 and trained at Camp Haan, California and Camp Irwin, California. Mr. Reger served in Normandy, France, Ardennes, Rhineland, Germany, and Central Europe. He was awarded the Drivers Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Bronze Star with ETO with 5 Battle Stars. He was discharged in 1945.

Survived by his wife; one daughter; one son; four brothers - N.W. Reger, Fern Reger, Joe Bob Reger, and Tommy Reger; three sisters - Jessie Whitehead, Joy Ann Wadley, and Bonnie McMillan; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
