ALLEN, Esburn E. age 91, passed away Monday, September 25, 2006. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Kathryn E. in 1976; his wife, Esther N. in 2001; 3 brothers, his twin, Estle, William & Carroll. He is survived by his daughters, Romita (Tony) Nelson, Stephanie (John) Gogstetter, Marcia (Kenneth) Hagens & Candace (Jack) VanDorple; son, Stuart W. (Nancy) Allen; 18 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great- grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. Esburn was a member of the Liberty United Methodist Church and a past Sunday School teacher. He was a U.S. Army veteran of W.W. II, 120th Infantry, and received a Purple Heart. He operated a Sunbeam Bread agency for 35 yrs. Funeral service will be 11 am Thursday, September 28, at MORRIS SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1771 E. Dorothy Lane, Kettering. Pastor David Hilton officiating. Burial at Bearcreek Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior. Donations may be made to Liberty UMC or Otterbein. Condolences can be sent to www.morris-sons.com.
