She is survived by her husband, W.A. Allen of Bell, Fla; a daughter, Donna Bouchie of Old Town; a son, George (Dorothy) Allen of Rutherfordton, N.C.; four grandchildren: Tracy (Louie) Ridgeway of Trenton, Fla, Lynnette (Travis) Weaver and Russell (Robin) Hook of Old Town, and Arianna Allen of Rutherfordton; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Florabelle Farmer; two brothers, Richard (Betty) Conner and Robert (Shirley) Conner.
A visitation was held on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Evans-Carter Funeral Home, located at 220 North Main Street in High Springs, Fla. Funeral services are to be held today, Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010, at 1 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church, located on U.S. 27, in Fort White, Fla., with Rev. Royce B. Hanshew officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery.
Arrangements are in the care of Evans-Carter Funeral Home in High Springs.
