Harriett J. Parsons, 83, of Chillicothe, died 1:25 a.m. Friday, January 15, 2010 at her residence with her family at her side. She was born October 14, 1926, in Ross County, to the late Frank and Mattie Jester Carroll. On July 12, 1945, she married Fred M. Parsons who died June 6, 2008.
Surviving are daughters, Jewell (Joe) Lallier, Judy (James) Speakman and Janet Wacaster, all of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Chad (Michelle), Kimberly (Robert), Amy (Josh), Gary, Cindy (Dusty), John and his fiancée, Kayla, Bob (Miranda) and Herbie; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Ethel Pierce, Mildred Parsons and Anna Gillette and brothers, Phillip, Howard, Coyt, Richard, Harvey and Skyller Carroll.
Harriett attended Hilltop Mission.
Services were entrusted to Ware Funeral Home of Chillicothe, Ohio.
