He was a founding member of St. Isidore Catholic Church. Don was a charter member of the Knights of Columbus Council #12086 and a 4th Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus. He was active in RCIA, CEC and voluteered at many church and K.C. activities.
Don enjoyed bowling, golf, fishing, hunting and was a longtime, avid Chicago Cubs fan. He enjoyed watching and participating in his grandchildren's activities.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Stained Glass Fund at St. Isidore Church.
Don is survived by: Wife: Celine Beerbohm of Columbus; son: Jeff Beerbohm of Columbus; daughter: Laurie (Monty) Walker of Columbus; brother: Larry (Peggy) Beerbohm of Fairbury; granddaughter: Hannah Beerbohm of Columbus; granddaughter: Breanna Walker of Columbus; granddaughter: Chloe Walker of Columbus.
