Mary Ann Anderson, 86, of Weed, passed away Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010, in Alamogordo.
She was born Dec. 29, 1923 in Abilene, Texas to Lon and Birdie Hayhurst. She married Demry Lee Anderson Feb. 22, 1943 in Carlsbad. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include her brother, Bill Hayhurst, of Truth or Consequences; son, David Anderson, of Silver City; seven grandchildren, LeAnn Pierce, Shannon Walker, Melissa McKinstry, Randy Walker, Daina Brown, Mike Anderson and Dawndee Prather; 18 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Fay Walker and two great-grandchildren.
