He was a life long resident of Armstrong County, having been born May 26, 1883, in Madison Twp, a son of the late Jonathan and Jane (Vickroy) Reedy. For 20 years prior to his retirement, he was employed by the Armstrong Water Company, Kittanning. He was united in marriage to Miss Pearl Peters, who died April 5, 1951. Surviving are two brothers and four sisters, James W. Reedy and Guy N. Reedy, Templeton, Mrs. Frank Yohe, Applewold, Mrs. Espy Craig, Rimer R.D.#1, Mrs. Clem Hetrick, Kellersburg, and Mrs. Charles Lockhart, Los Angeles, CA.
Friends are being received in the Bauer Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 4:14 p.m. Rev. Walter Kennedy, pastor of the Templeton and Goheenville Presbyterian Churches will be in charge. Burial will be made in the Kittanning Cemetery.
