William Adolph Daniel, aged 45, died at his home in Warren Friday, April 19, from paralysis after an illness of eight days. He was born in Smackover September 19, 1889.

For a number of years he engaged in the battery business in Warren and he was employed as assistant superintendent of the Warren Cotton Oil and Manufacturing Co. During the World War he was stationed at Camp Pike from June 18, 1918, to September 3, 1918.

On November 17, 1917 he married Miss Booker Baker of Warren. He was a member of the American Legion and the Methodist church. Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Laura Betty Daniel, and one son, Billy Boy Daniel.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon at Oakland cemetery by the Rev. J. W. Mann, pastor of the First Methodist church. Pallbearers were Taylor Earle, Claude Hawk, Jake Ward, Nick Turner, Lee Martin and Hugh Herring.

Mother Lucy R Howard Daniel born May 1870 according to census. She was last seen on 1910 census living with her mother,Gabrella. She was listed as widowed and had William Adolph living with her too. Lucy's father was William A Howard .

William Adolph Daniel's death certificate is hard to read for his fathers name. His parents marriage record lists B T Daniel. He's listed as Berry Daniel on 1900 census and has 2 cousins living with them. Shows him born about 1856.
