John E. Shelton, 69, of 5303 Kings Highway passed away Friday.
He was a school teacher in Austin for many years, having taught at McCallum and Anderson High Schools.Survivors are: his wife, Gwendolyn Shelton of Austin; daughters, Mary Curbow of Austin, Margaret Rusch of New York, New York, Ellen Duke of Taylor, son, John E. Shelton of Austin; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Monday from Wilke-Amey-Clay Funeral Home, 'Chapel of the Bells'. Reverend Roger Wilson officiating. Burial at Oakland Cemetery in Dallas at 4:00 PM.
