Mrs. Stewart was born in Byron, GA. She was the daughter of the late Homer W. and Lois (Rape) Long. She was also preceded death by her husband James L. "Jimmy" Stewart, Jr. She was a graduate of the A.L. Miller High School in Macon. She was retired from Robins Air Base having worked there for over 38 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Centerville. Mrs. Stewart was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her children Denise (Chris) James of Niceville, FL, Bryan (Tammy) Stewart of Kathleen, Mark (Kim) Stewart of Warner Robins, grandchildren, Daulton Stewart, Reagan Stewart, MacKenzie James, Grayson James, Davey Allen, Jacob Allen, sisters Catherine L. Jones of Kathleen, Kay L. Bailey of Centerville, brother, William Derrell Long of Centerville and her beloved dog Presley.
