On Saturday, May 31, 2008, Chad Michael Donohues' spirit was set free. He was 29 years old.
Chad was born on May 27, 1979, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He grew up in Spring Creek and graduated from Spring Creek High School in 1998. After attending Great Basin College in Elko, Chad worked as an electrician. Everyone who was blessed to have known Chad, knows what a hard worker he was. He worked for SMD under Gordon Severance, whom he has always held in the highest regards.
Chad truly loved the outdoors, camping, and fishing with his family and friends. It was at those times in his life that he was his happiest. The depth of his love to please those he cared about can never be measured. He loved and treated his nephew Keaton and niece Braylen like they were his own children. We all loved him so much and will miss his smile. Chad was recently engaged to Amanda Johnson, whom he loved more than life itself.
He is survived by his mother and father Mike and Kathy Donohue; sister and best friend Danielle (Dwayne) Schomer, sister Jennie Donohue, brother Bryant Donohue, nephew Keaton Schomer, niece Braylen Schomer, grandparents Wayne and Donna Losser, grandmother Margaret Erickson, many aunts, uncles, cousins, great friends, and his dog Rusty.
A memorial service/celebration of life is at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2008, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 234 Boyd Kennedy Road, Spring Creek.
