Pearl Blood, Harold Martin Wed Yesterday
In a simple dress of deep royal blue acetate crepe with white accents, Miss Pearl Ruby Blood, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Blood, town of Saratoga, was united in marriage yesterday at high noon to Harold Donald Martin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Martin of Almond.
The Rev. C. O. O'Neil read the ritual at the home of the bride's parents, where 50 guests attended a wedding supper immediately after the ceremony.
The couple is living with the groom's parents, where he is engaged in farming. Guests were Mr. And Mrs. Everett Martin, Miss Eva Walters, Miss Marie Walters, Arthur Martin, Merle Martin, and Mr. And Mrs. C. Martin and son Robert, Almond; Mr. And Mrs. George A. Neilson, Hancock; Mr. And Mrs. Tony Wirkutz, and Mr. And Mrs. Emerson Nigh, Plainfield; Miss Pauline Tesser, Miss Dorothy Tesser, Miss Joy Tesser, Miss Anna Tesser and Mrs. J Tesser, Ten Mile; And Mr. And Mrs. Ed Ferry, Mr. And Mrs. N. Crocker, Mr. And Mrs. George Huffman, Wisconsin Rapids; and the Rev. Martin Soly.

Mrs. Harold Martin
A lifelong resident of Central Wisconsin, Mrs. Harold Martin of the Town of Plainfield died Tuesday morning in the Clintonville Hospital. She was 40 years old.
Mrs. Martin had been hospitalized in Clintonville the past week, and in Wild Rose the previous week. She suffered from a heart ailment.
She gave birth to a daughter, Ruth Esther, on Monday.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Assembly of God Church,Plainfield. Burial will be in the Plainfield Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hardell Funeral Home in Almond until 10 a.m. Thursday, when the body will be taken to the church.
The former Pearl Ruby Blood was born in the Town of Satatoga (Wood County) March 13, 1918, a daughter of the late Henry Blood and Mrs. Clara Blood, now of Wisconsin Rapids.
She was married Sept. 27, 1936 to Mr. Martin. The couple had lived in the Plainfield vicinity.
Surviving, besides her husband and mother, are five daughters, Lucille, Aline, Jaroldeen, Mamie, and Ruth Esther, and a son Jerry at home; three brothers, Wilbur, Willis and Henry Blood, Wisconsin Rapids; and four sisters, Mrs. May Wirtuky and Mrs. Sylvia Neilson(sic), Neilsville, Mrs. Mildred Kaneski(sic), Wisconsin Rapids, and Miss Evelyn Blood, Wausau.
She was preceded in death by a son, Lawrence, who died last September at the age of 18, and another son, Everett.
