Edward Wright was the son of Lillian Nichols and Louis
Wright.
Edward grew up in Kimberly, Alabama.
He worked for the Jefferson County Board of Education as a custodian and bus driver and was loved by all the students at Irondale Jr High.
He married Betty Jean and had two children: Ronald Edward Wright and Shelia Roper.
He then married childhood friend, Frances Leslie Rickels Odom. When they married Frances had 3 daughter, Pamela Katherine, Julia Kay and Suzanne. He became a step father to the three girls. Frances and Edward had 3 children together; Gregory Edward, David Warren and Adria Michelle. The couple divorced after almost 25 years of marriage.
He then moved to Michigan where he married Ruby. They were married until his death.
Edward was a boxer in his younger years known by the name Chalkie.
Edward was a guitar player, singer and preacher of the gospel. He attended Kimberly Church of God for many years.
He loved his children above all others and his children loved him...
