TRACEY CHAMPLUVIER, 75, of Macedonia (Asylum Township) died Frida evening at the Memorial Hospital, Towanda. (Nov. 3, 1989 penciled in) He was born in South Auburn on Dec. 19, 1913, son of the late Peter and Ortie Benneger Champluvier. He attended school in Skinners Eddy and married the former Vera Sitas of Laceyville on April 2, 1937. He resided in Dushore where he worked for Harrington and Co. until 1944 when he entered the Army in World War II. He served in the Rhineland Campaign and was discharged in 1946. After the war he was engaged in farming on Sugar Hill for 17 years. He later worked for PennDOT for over 10 years from which he retired in 1976. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. His spouse,, Vera predeceased him on Jan. 4, 1983. He
is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Tracey L. and Mabel Champluvier of Macedonia: two daughters and sons-in-law: Charlotte and Richard Vosefsk of Apalachin, NY and Marianne and Richard McDonough of Owego, NY; a brother, Peter Champluvier of Laceyville and a half-brother, Clifford Champluvier of Arlington, TN; six
grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 1 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing. Interment will be in Wyalusing Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 7-9 p/m/ Memorials may be directed to the Heart Fund. -Towanda Daily Review
