Emma Davis, 90, Kokomo, died Monday, July 24, 1978 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Kokomo. She was retired in 1968 as librarian of the Atlanta Library, a position she held for 45 years.
A native of Atlanta, she was born Sept. 30, 1887 to Dr. Lewis and Sophia (Price) McFactridge. She was married in 1912 to Otto Davis who died in 1918.
Surviving are two sons, Robert Davis Indianapolis and George Davis, Kokomo; a sister, Elizabeth Minneman, California; a brother, Walter McFactridge Sr., Kokomo; 18 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Altanta Methodist Church and OES.
They had 3 boys: Robert Richard, Howard Harold and George Lewis.
