Frank Inghram obituary, Democrat Messenger, Waynesburg (Greene County), Pennsylvania, 15 February, 1935

Funeral services for Frank Inghram, aged 81, well known retired stockman, who died at his home in West Greene street, at 1 o'clock Tuesday morning, were held in the Hoge and Garrison funeral home yesterday at 2 o'clock in charge of Rev. Paul Holden. Death was due to disease incident to his age.

The deceased was born in Franklin Township June 4, 1853, and was the son of William and Martha Hoge Inghram. He was a farmer and stock raiser and was educated in the public schools and attended Waynesburg College. Before taking up farming he taught school for a number of years. Later in life he followed stock buying for many years. He was a member of the Waynesburg Methodist Protestant Church.

Surviving are his wife, Rebecca E. Inghram; two children, Rev. Mark Inghram, Olivet, Mich., and Alice, wife of Rev. W. J. Hale (sic), of Wooster, O., and three sisters, Mrs. John H. (sic) Murdock, Mrs. John T. Inghram and Miss Jessie Inghram, of Waynesburg, and eight grandchildren.

Married his distant cousin Rebecca Elizabeth Inghram on July 2. 1876. Had a daughter Alice who married Dr. William James Hail*.
