FORT WORTH - Abbie Cordelia Massey, a retired telephone operator, died Thursday at a Fort Worth hospital. She was 78.
Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow at Spicer Funeral Home in Memphis, Hall County. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Memphis.
Mrs. Massey was born in Mineral Wells and moved to Dallas in 1969. She moved to Fort Worth in 1977.
Mrs. Massey worked for General Telephone Co. in Memphis and later worked for the telephone company in Dumas.
Survivors: Husband, Alvin Massey of Fort Worth; son, Charles Massey of Arlington; three daughters, Margaret Ann Leeds of Los Angeles, Ouida Bradshaw of Fort Worth and Abbie Cotrell of San Antonio; brother, Bartow O'Neal of Tyler; four sister, Minnie Ola Kirby of Brownwood, Margaret Heflin and Ruby Kilbride, both of Tyler, and Mary Daniels of Fort Worth; and 13 grandchildren.
