FRANCES MARIE BARNETT
---Frances Marie Barnett, 57, of 1720 East McPherson, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday (February 3, 1988) in her home.
---Born January 4, 1931 in Elmer, she was the daughter of Samuel A. and Frances K. (Buck) Salisbury. On June 2, 1947 in Kansas City, she married Carrol D. Barnett, who survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Beverly Ann Alameda of Napa, California; two grandchildren, Jeffery E. Jones and Cinda Ann Jones; one brother, Samuel Salisbury of Omaha, Nebraska; five sisters, Juanita Basler, Pearl Russell and Fay Dobbs all of Kirksville, Lucille Parker of Kansas City, Kansas and May Adams of Jefferson City and several nieces and nephews.
---She was preceded in death by her parents; one niece, Patty Russell; one nephew, Larry Russell and two brothers-in-law, Clifford Russell and John Parker.
---Mrs. Barnett attended school at Millard and Kirksville High School. After their marriage she and Mr. Barnett lived in Kirksville until moving to California in 1958. One year ago they returned to Kirksville. While living in California, Mrs. Barnett was employed with various car agencies. At the time of her death she was employed with Reiser Ford in Kirksville.
---Funeral services will be held at one o'clock Saturday afternoon (February 6, 1988) in the chapel of the Fohn Funeral Home. The Rev. Archie Cooper will conduct the services. Music will be provided by Dianthe Cable organist, and Harold Moyer, soloist. The selection will be "Beyond The Sunset." Burial will be in the Highland Park Cemetery.
---Casket bearers will be Hal Pfeiffer, Richard Hudson, Mace Poore, Wayne Reiser, Toni Maggart and Rich Blackstad.
---Friends may call at Fohn Funeral Home.
