Mrs. Cassie J. Hoskinson, of New Freeport, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Chester Vradenbirg, of Shelbyville, Tennessee, Monday morning, March 23, 1936, of complications incident to her advanced years.
The deceased was born in Carmichaels, a daughter of Smith and Elizabeth Crago, deceased, and was a graduate of old Greene Academy of that place. She was engaged in teaching prior to her marriage to Phillip D. Hoskinson. All her married life was spent in New Freeport where she was an active member of the First Baptist Church and of the New Freeport W.C.T.U. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Frank L. Hoover, of Waynesburg; Mrs. Chester Vradenbirg, of Shelbyville, Tennessee; Mrs. Donald Spearin, of Detroit; Miss Ann Hoskinson, at home; Willbur Hoskinson, of Waynesburg; Robert Hoskinson, at home, and John Hoskinson, of Keewatin, Minn. Two sisters, Mrs. Frank G. Worthington, of Washington, and Mrs. Laura Kelly, of Pittsburgh, also survive.
