News has been received here of the death of Mrs. Wilhelmina J Peters in Anaheim, Calif. She was a former resident of the Mirage Flats area and would have been 95 years old in January. Mrs. Peters is survived by over 200 direct descendants including three daughters in this area. They are Mrs. Mae Manion of Alliance; Mrs. J Elwin (Celia) Reid and Mrs. John (Etta) Shipp both of Hay Springs She also is survived by a son Lawrence Peters who lives in Long Beach Calif.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 am Monday at St Columbkille's Catholic Church in Hay Springs, Rev Robert Weist will officiate and burial will be in Hay Springs. The Rosary will be recited Sunday evening.
