Gary was cremated with plans for future inurnment at Custer County Cemetery, Miles City, MT with his parents, Ed and Gladys (Peterson) Gran who are in this cemetery.
I am a 1st cousin of Gary's but not positive that this has been done so have created a photo request for verification. If inurnment at this cemetery, Gary would be next to his parents so relatively easy to confirm whether or not Gary is now in this cemetery.
If urn is found, I would appreciate a photo of his headstone or plaque and a group photo with the headstones of his parents.
I am also creating photo requests for his parents for upload of the group photo if found. No reason to duplicate their existing headstone photo.
If not found, please advise and I will remove the photo request and modify this bio.

Gary Gran was born in Miles City on Aug. 23, 1941, to Edward M. and Gladys Peterson Gran. He attended Miles City schools and later graduated from Bozeman Senior High School in 1960.
Gary married Linda Cain on Aug. 29, 1970. He was proud to have worked for 26 years for the Montana Highway Department Planning and Statistics Bureau.
Gary is survived by his wife, Linda; daughters, Nicole (Jason) Watson, Gina (Jim) Fuller and Joani Tompkins; six grandchildren, Brandon and Jacob Watson, Kendra and Ryan Fuller and Alyssa and Haileigh Tompkins.
A memorial service celebrating Gary's life will be held 11:30 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010 at the Retz Funeral Home Chapel. Memorials in Gary's name are suggested to an organization of the donor's choice.
