Mrs. BESSIE ESTELLA FUNKHOUSER, wife of Albert J. Funkhouser, Whitehall, died at the Washington County Hospital Thursday at 11 p.m., after an illness of one month, aged 67 years. Born and reared at Charles Town, W. Va., she was the daughter of David and Mary (Boorhee) Henrietta. She was a member of the Methodist church.
Surviving, besides husband, are daughter, Mrs. Helen Socks Stover, Funkstown; son, Edgar, Downsville; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Laura Frye, Martinsburg; Mrs. Hester Lord, Sarasota, Fl; brothers, William, Bolivar, WV; David and Stewart, Martinsburg.
Services were held at the Coffman Funeral Home; interment in Rose Hill cemetery.
